 The Flower of Life is a pretty significant symbol. I'll write about it at some point. For me within it is contained the start of any design i've done. I just barely got it done before the tide came in suddenly.

 4th day in a row doing a Playa Painting- I'm so jazzed with the new direction my designs are exploring. As I was leaving San Francisco, I had to stop in and do a variation of the previous day's contour lines, filling in the alternating spaces. I was there too early to have much space, so I did what I could til I was being hit by the water.

 New areas are opening up to me as I approach them differently. This spot is on the beach fronting Sutro baths, just on the other side of the normal location I use on Ocean Beach. Its a small space but perfectly suited to what I had in mind.

 This piece is an extension of the design from the day before, Langmuir Film. The thought came to me that day of the chaotic jumble of worms acting as a unity in executing some directors will. In this case they are symbiotically working for the boulder, which is sending them out to communicate with the thigns nearby, the ocean and other rocks.
